“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
We believe that the Cross of Jesus is the power of God—Therefore our teachings center around the cross.
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
—1 Corinthians 1:18
We believe that Jesus was delivered to the cross for our transgressions and raised again by our Father for our justification—Therefore we rejoice in the finished work of salvation by Jesus.
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
We believe that salvation is a gift to us through God’s grace and that the gifts of God are without repentance—Therefore we rejoice in the security of the believer in Christ.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
We believe that love is the fruit of the Holy Spirit—Therefore we abide under His guidance that we may bear that fruit AND the Holy Spirit will teach us all we need to know.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”
“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
—1 John 2:27
We believe that the bodily resurrection of Jesus not only testifies of our atonement but also guarantees that there is a day of Judgement coming upon the whole world—Therefore, we look for Jesus to come and deliver the church from the wrath to come.
“Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
We believe in the diversities & the operations of the Holy Spirit by God—Therefore we pray anytime for anyone. We lay hands on--- and pray for the sick for healing, pray with the unbeliever for salvation and with the backslider for repentance. And, for those who are seeking the power to be a witness for Christ, we pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
“And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”
—1 Corinthians 12:7,6
We believe in prayer.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
